Laohe Hill

The Laohe Hill or Laoheshan , is a renowned hill located in , Zhejiang Province, People's Republic of China.

Introduction


It's located on the northwest corner of the famous West Lake and also in the Yuquan Campus, Zhejiang University. It has an altitude of 156 meters, and is covered by forests. 1936, on the foot of the hill, a very large neolithic site was discovered , so it's also a very famous historic site of Hangzhou.

It's also a literature topic often appears in many essays or poems by the people who have visited Hangzhou and climbed on it.
